The Muse Brooklyn has circus tricks and loads of lessons to get you into the skies. The pandemic forced the Bushwick store to conduct classes remotely, but its warehouse is now open again for classes. Lessons return to personal lessons with some changes.
The circus and art industry took a hit during the pandemic, but the muse Brooklyn believes she is ready to rise from the ashes.
Angela Buccinni Butch says, “Now is the time to be present for the arts.”
What exactly can you learn at the Bushwick site?
“Silk and trapeze. You can learn how to do lyre. We have acrobalance, partner acro, hand to hand, and just about anything. If you want to learn more specific skills, we have private tuition instead of group tuition now.”
There is no need to try the different activities.
“You can’t expect to know how to do these things without the foundation and the building blocks. The nice thing about the circus, especially as fitness, is that it’s really fun and you use your body to accomplish all of these things that you didn’t know was possible, “adds Butch.
The store should be fully open by September.
