An exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum takes visitors on a journey through the 25-year career of a renowned artist from the district.

Bright, colorful works of art and larger-than-life sculptures give museum visitors a comprehensive experience of the exhibition KAWS: What Party.

The show features more than 100 pieces by Brooklyn artist KAWS. His works include characters from his popular “companion” characters and cartoons like the Smurfs.

The artist’s early graffiti drawings from the 1990s can now be seen in the USA for the first time

The exhibition also features some of KAWS ‘more recent works depicting feelings related to the pandemic.

The exhibition runs until September.
