Suspect arrested after allegedly working over a bus driver in a road assault in East New York, Brooklyn

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (WABC) – Police arrested a road traffic incident involving a school bus driver in Brooklyn.

Kymani Hardie is accused of running his vehicle over the bus driver in East New York.

The incident occurred on Hinsdale Street and Linden Boulevard on Friday, April 30th at 5:15 p.m.

According to the police, the school bus driver was standing at a red light when the vehicle behind her began to honk and continued to hit the bus.

The bus driver got out and, according to authorities, there was an argument.

When attempting to capture the vehicle, the bus driver was then run over by the vehicle.

She suffered a fractured pelvis and other internal injuries.

Hardie is charged with attempted murder.

At the time of the incident, there were no people on the bus.
