Adi designed and manufactured bespoke wall sculptures for the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE bar and pedestals for the entrance installation. The inspiration comes from the work of Yaacov Agam and the large format sculptures made by the Lipponcott metal fabrication studio in the 1960s and 1970s.

Jen demonstrates her custom-made hand-drawn lettering in an interactive mural and asks the trade fair visitors: “Why is creativity important?” Visitors can then select a statement that suits them best and bring the appropriate sticker to the bar for a BOMBAY SAPPHIRE cocktail suggestion based on your statement.

Inspired by the movement of gin, Joe explores the balance and movement that lines, shapes and negative spaces can create in the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Canvas Lab Mural.

Camila Rosa is a freelance illustrator and designer from Brazil. She created a large-format mural for BOMBAY SAPPHIRE as part of her global partnership for “Stir Creativity”, which will be presented at the Other Art Fair.

The Other Art Fair will also feature a central bar serving wine, beer, cocktails, and soft drinks, as well as a Maman pop-up café. Below are some of the featured features:

In 2011, artists Mike Perry and Josh Cochran introduced “Get Nude Get Drawn,” an interactive arts experiment that celebrates “the nude” by recruiting non-professional models through social media to get naked for a two-day marathon drawing session to pose.

During The Other Art Fair, each model will pose for a 30-minute drawing session with 8 notable artists, including Perry and Cochran, who will create as many portraits as possible within that time frame. The models are then presented with one of their portraits and the rest are sold at the fair.

“Get Nude, Get Drawn” has been shown at exhibitions in New York and London and gathers a talented list of participating artists and over 200 models who have participated in the project to date.

With artists and works geared towards movement, The Moving Booth presented by GIPHY Arts presents dynamic works of art by five talented digital artists who are building the awareness of the GIF as an artistic medium and format.

Selected artists:

Gowanus Print Lab will host a free program of printing workshops through its brand new mobile printing lab. GPL is an artist-run, open studio-style screen printing company with the aim of promoting community and education.

The exhibition “Portraits” shows different portrait styles by artists of the ArTech Collective, from classical style to reinterpretations of famous works, from silent color variations to lively anime interpretations. The ArTech Collective offers artists with disabilities the opportunity to develop and express themselves through integrative, innovative and accessible approaches to traditional and new media.

Brooklyn-based tattoo artist Rosa ‘Bluestone Babe’ Perr creates hand-pierced tattoos with her beautiful and unique designs. Tattoos start at $ 115 and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
