FDNY fights all-hand fires in Greenpoint, a business constructing in Brooklyn

GREENPOINT, Brooklyn (WABC) – Firefighters were at the scene of the fire in a Brooklyn commercial building Thursday night.

News Copter 7 was over the all-hand fire at 284 Kingsland Ave in Greenpoint, according to FDNY, which started shortly after 5 p.m.

Officials say all workers in the building have been evacuated.

It is said that three firefighters were taken to local hospitals for examination.

According to the FDNY, the fire was extinguished and brought under control shortly before 6.30 p.m.

Kingsland Avenue was closed between Norman Avenue and Nassau Avenue.
