Dime Better of Brooklyn Meals and Beer Competition is coming quickly
The best of all worlds will come together next month as the second annual Dime Best of Brooklyn Food and Beer Festival prepares to wrap the Industry City once again.
The foodie-friendly event – showcasing the best of the best in food and drink – is in anticipation of another Dime Best of Brooklyn competition hosted by the Brooklyn Media Group, publisher of BrooklynReporter.com. The home reporter, Brooklyn viewers and Viewer news and several other local outlets.
At the end of last year’s competition (the fifth iteration of “Best of”), over 45,000 voters selected more than 100 winners in categories such as Best Bar, Best Burger, Best Happy Hour and more in a district that is now known worldwide for quality and Originality of its culinary offer.
For the second year in a row, you’ll have the chance to see some of the best in the borough – and sample their wares – in one place, Sunset Park’s Industry City.
“Brooklyn has an amazingly diverse range of food and drink,” said Josh Schneps, director of the Brooklyn Media Group. “This is a great opportunity to get out in the winter and discover all the amazing things Brooklyn has to offer in one place and have fun in the meantime.”

The participating restaurants so far include: Empanada Papa, Coney Shack, Three Little Pigs, Dino BBQ, Twisted Truffles, Brooklyn Jerk Joint, Audrey’s Concerto and Paesano am 13NS.
Beverage suppliers include Brooklyn Brewery, Braven, Kelso, WarFlag, and Kombrecha.
The festival takes place on Saturday, January 27, from 12pm to 8:30 pm at 220 36th Street. Tickets are available for three sessions: one from 12.30pm to 2.30pm, a second from 4pm to 6pm, and another from 6.30pm to 8pm
All three sessions offer early bird tickets that allow entry half an hour before the opening, as well as a souvenir tasting glass. VIP Beer Enthusiast tickets are also available for all sessions and include early bird hours and other perks like a copy of the Brooklyn Beer Book (valued at $ 30). There is also a specific driver ticket option for those who do not want to drink.
