Police responded Friday to a report of a stolen car with a baby near 30th Street and Third Avenues in Brooklyn.

Police say the report came in around 3:40 p.m. The incident took place in a mall next to Industry City, according to police.

Police said the child’s mother was loading the car in the mall’s parking lot when the suspect stole the car and drove away with the baby.

The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Tyler Hall, was found a few miles away after a massive police search.

Hall faces a number of charges, police said. Hall has been charged on two counts of robbery, aggravated theft, double bodily harm, reckless endangerment, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unlawful detention and child harm.

The 2-year-old was reunited with his family on Friday.

Police say they are currently interrogating the suspect in custody.
