Brooklyn Structure: Images of Buildings We Love

Here’s a round-up of some of our favorite Instagram photos of historic Brooklyn architecture.

They represent some of the most popular styles of the 19th and 20th centuries, both in the residential and commercial sectors. You’ll see everything from brick Greek Revival townhouses in Brooklyn Heights to a large Renaissance Revival commercial building in Greenpoint.

The latter is 144 Franklin Street, better known as the Mechanics and Traders Bank of Brooklyn. (Long-time readers will recognize it as the building whose image once graced the top of this website’s home page.)

Which building is your favorite?
