A Brooklyn mother seeks help catching the person who nearly kidnapped her 15-year-old daughter Tuesday afternoon.

It wasn’t uncommon for Artrivia Gowins’ kids to go to the Prospect Plaza Playground to play, but now she says they are scared to come back.

She says her 15-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son were playing basketball and most of the other children left.

Suddenly she says a man who may be in his late twenties came after the teenage girl and grabbed her. At first she said the younger brother asked if she knew the man and when she said no he yelled for help.

Gowins says she is grateful that a passerby called them and asked if everything was okay.

The teen managed to break free, and she and her brother ran to seek help in the 73rd ward.

Now she says her children live with relatives out of town because the incident was so traumatic.

Gowins says she will notify other parents if the suspect tries again. He was walking down Sterling Street.

She says the police are tracking down surveillance videos.
