The popular open-air oasis Brooklyn Mirage is preparing to reopen with a series of shows that will officially welcome attendees back to the sprawling, palm-fringed venue for a multi-genre program from July. The Brooklyn Mirage events will officially continue with a major reopening set from MEDUZA on July 1st, followed by performances by REZZ on July 2nd, Black Coffee on July 4th and Chris Lake on July 14th.
On June 2, Brooklyn Mirage also announced that a back-to-back set employing the live mixing expertise of none other than Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet under their code name Get Real would replace Dirtybird BBQ Brooklyn. The beaty shakin beats can be captured on September 10th. Following the pattern of the daily show revelations from June 1-2, live music lovers can likely expect more events in the coming days.
The reinstallation of the Mirage’s live programming follows the recent announcement by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo that the city’s businesses and public venues can operate at full capacity without enforcing mask wearing or social distancing guidelines, provided that all attendees be able to provide proof of vaccination. According to New York State regulations, all event attendees must be fully vaccinated to attend events not only at the Brooklyn Mirage / Avant Gardner, but also the Great Hall and Kings Hall. The CDC defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the administration of the second dose of the Pfizer BioNTech or Moderna vaccine or two weeks after the administration of the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine.
Ticket holders must provide proof of vaccination using one of three media: CrowdPass, which captures secure, digital proof of an individual’s COVID-19 vaccination card; the Excelsior Pass of the New York States; or a physical vaccination card. For more information on the Brooklyn Mirage / Avant Gardner, The Great Hall, and The Kings Hall COVID-19 security protocols and refund policy, please visit here. Tickets for all upcoming shows can be purchased here.
