A youngster saved after falling down the chimney on New York Metropolis Public College Constructing in Midwood, Brooklyn?

MIDWOOD, Brooklyn (WABC) – Firefighters rescued a teenage boy who fell through a chimney in a public school in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Passers-by alerted the fire brigade before 4 a.m. in front of a registered child in a chimney at PS 255.

The 16-year-old boy was on the roof with others when he fell down the school chimney.

The fire department responded and found him in the basement near the boiler area.

He was taken to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.

The police are investigating.

The boy is summoned, probably for trespassing.
