25-year-old dies on the development web site of the Brooklyn Navy Yard: Cops
BROOKLYN, NY – A 25-year-old died Thursday after an apparent fall at a construction site in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, police said.
Marcos Rodriguez, who lived in Bay Ridge, was found unconscious and unresponsive at a construction site in Building R109 of the Navy Yard shortly before 8:30 a.m., police said.
Rodriguez had injuries to his legs and head that “coincided with a fall from an elevated position,” police said.
He was taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said they suspect no crime in Rodriguez’s death. The coroner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
